EIS – Frequently Asked Questions

About EIS

What is EIS?

EIS is a 100% online international school that helps learners worldwide prepare for Edexcel/Cambridge IGCSEs. We guide students to achieve excellent grades at a young age, giving them a strong head start in education and beyond.

What makes EIS different?

EIS is fully online and international. We provide premium live classes with expert teachers, supported by class recordings for revision. Our flexible approach helps students excel academically while leaving extra time to explore their passions and skills.

Enrollment & Curriculum

Who can enroll at EIS?

Anyone above the age of 10 can enroll, there is no upper age limit. We welcome learners who live abroad and cannot afford international schooling, as well as students who have had breaks or disruptions in their studies. The only requirements are a basic understanding of English and a responsible attitude to follow instructions.

What grades or levels do you offer?

We currently offer Edexcel IGCSE tuition. Edexcel is a UK-based exam board by Pearson, recognized worldwide. IGCSEs are international qualifications accepted by universities and colleges across the globe. Soon, we will also offer A Levels, advanced courses that prepare students for university.

Do you give certificates?

After examination, your nearest British Council (or Pearson Edexcel/Cambridge verified centres accepting private candidates) will provide you with certificates.

What curriculum do you follow?

We follow the Edexcel/Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, which builds strong academic skills and prepares students for further education. It is a flexible, internationally respected qualification.

Where will I give exams?

You will enroll yourself with the nearest British Council or Pearson Edexcel/Cambridge verified exam centre as a private candidate. We will fully help you in this process.

Classes & Learning

How are classes conducted?

Each subject is taught live by a teacher. Students can interact with teachers through chat, and all lessons are recorded for later review.

What subjects do you offer?

We currently teach IGCSE Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. These core subjects open doors to any field of study. Computer Science is not essential at IGCSE level and can still be studied later after completing these subjects.

How long does it take to complete IGCSEs?

Normally, it takes 2 years (4 sessions). However, learners with previous IGCSE experience, Grade 9/10 equivalency, or those who wish to fast-track can complete it in 1–1.5 years (2–3 sessions).

What equipment or software do I need?

You only need a PC, laptop, or tablet with a webcam and stable internet. A printer is recommended for assignments and tests.

How do I access classes and homework?

Once enrolled, you’ll receive login details for our online portal, where you can attend classes, access homework, assignments, and tests. A step-by-step guide will also be provided.

What if I miss a class?

All classes are recorded and uploaded to the portal. You can watch them anytime and contact your teacher directly if you need further support.

How much are the fees?

The tuition fee is $60 per month, $300 per term, and $500 on a yearly basis. Exam registration fees are separate and depend on your location. Contact us for details.
